I know lumber is getting to be expensive, but still this job that I am now doing is still under $75. At least this way, I am still able to get some of my other bills paid.

Except for the fact that I havent done this before, it really hasn't taken me all that long to remove the old steps and stringers and put in the new ones. The scariest thing I have done so far is to use my circular saw to cut a four step stringer and a three step stringer just to get the 3 two step stringers I need. Ha! the stores won't carry anything under 3 steps and I wasn't about to re-invent the wheel!

Anyway, it started getting dark so I am quitting for now. I didn't take a pic of it, but I have already added the boards that will be the bannisters to hold on to. The only thing I actually have left to do is cut the posts then add them on.
Oh yeah, in case you were wondering, I started this job late in the day after it had cooled off some.
