Well actually, I am trying to figure out what that bush is that takes up half the area between the house and the wall.

Right now it is completely covering a whiskey barrel that has hens and chicks in it. If you look closely, you can see a small Aspen tree trying to survive as well.

This is my Weeping Chinese Cherry tree.

I walked past it last year and discovered that a reeeaally big cherry was hanging on a lower branch. When I looked closer, I discovered it wasn't a cherry at all, it was actually a green apple. That was when I found out that I not only have an ornamental cherry tree, but I have an apple tree as well!
Hmm, it seems that this tree only produces one apple at a time. You can see it here next to the cherries.

Hi, I hope I have the right blog. I clicked on Jennifer over at Wendy's and this came up. Just want to say hi and Wendy sent me here.
Wishing you a blessed week.
Hi again, I think we were posting to each others blogs at the same time, lol. I do ride my motorcycle often in the winter when weather allows. Out of curiosity, I will have to keep track of my miles this winter.
Wow, I'm getting winded and I'm on a motorcycle. Wendy directed me here (pant). Off back to Wendy's. Meet you there, lol.
Hi Jennifer! I'm so glad that you posted on my blog with the Regina handle so I could find you. Blogger is weird sometimes.
Thanks for stopping by. And I'll see you back at Wendy's.
Nice pix of your yard.
Hi Jennifer, I totally admire that you built a porch, as posted in a previous blog. It looks really nice. Wendy sent me again, lol.
Back again, but on my own. I, too, love how some have added some awesome graphics to the tops and all around. My small graphics I found thru others and click on. When you click on the smaller graphics, it takes you to sites and you can usually get a few free ones to choose from. That's how I got my Betty Boop and Clock. It was just today that I noticed some of the really fancy ones are actually Blogger!
When you get to the website the graphic is at, some will give you a code to paste into your template. That is how the Betty Boop one worked. There were lots of different graphics to choose from, not all Betty Boop's, lol. I experimented with where I wanted to place it. One thing I did was copy my template into Word before messing with my template.
Great pics of your trees! We recently moved into a house that has a huge yard, and NO trees. I like trees, so in the spring we'll plant some :) I'm over from Miss Wendy's Casting Call.
That's really strange about your cherry /apple tree ... I wonder if the cherry tree was grafted onto an apple tree?
I have a nice garden - lots of roses and perennials, but few trees. I have one small Japanese maple, and a 5 foot or so tall Rose of Sharon and two small boxwoods ... but all the rest are plants.
Nice to visit and see your yard. :) I'm here via Wendy's tonight.
Hi Jennifer, I know what you mean about calling it a night. Thanks for all your visits. I really enjoyed talking with you. I will keep in touch after this and please do the same. I look forward to seeing any future house projects.
Have a Blessed Week, Betty :)
PS: I'm a Christian woman too. Without Jesus where would we be? Just today our Pastor was reminding us that. It was a great sermon.
Jennifer or is it Regina? I am so confused! Don't worry that is kinda normal for me! I too, am a Christian! It is always good to meet new sisters in Christ!
You have really done alot of projects. I am impressed. I like the cherry/apple tree. Pretty cool!
