Back in the yard, again!

I went back out to my yard after I realized that I put a post up about the trees in my yard and then I only posted about the Weeping Chinese Cherry tree.

I decided to take some more shots of the trees and hopefully this time post them,

but as I did so, I made some discoveries.

The first discovery was that the Weeping Chinese Cherries had now turned red. I tasted one and decided for me personally, liked it better when they were tart. Here is a closer look at the cherries.

I plucked the single apple and here it is as well ...

It's pretty small!

As I walked around the area taking more pictures, I noticed that I didn't get as many roses this year on my bushes. One reason that might be is that I didn't get out and prune them like I normally do, but one rose bush in particular I have, has as of yet to produce any roses on it. (Just give me one, please?)

I walked up on it and saw this interesting little thing ...

Hmmm, What's that?

At first I thought it was a small spider with a big egg sac. I went back in the house to get my camera and discovered that the whole thing was the spider, so I took several shots trying to get one that wasn't so blurry and hopefully you can see what I saw.

Spider - Friend or Foe?

Then I went on around the corner and took a picture of this tree. Believe it or not, it is 11 years old, but when I first planted it, so many people would go back and weed whack it when I would have people help me mow the lawn. When I finally thought it was dead, I planted the Irises there and put a ring around them. The tree finally realized it was safe from being cut down any more and have now gotten to this size.

Please ignore the weeds that have grown up around it. It has rained here so much I am glad that something is finally growing in this section of the yard!

I love your pictures, but I have to tell you that spider is huge!!! It gives me the creeps. Now I need to go out in my yard to see if I have any of those. I'd never seen anything like it.
